Small breakfast/brunch place that's pretty good, but kind of overpriced for the quantity and quality of the food. Nothing was bad really, and the cinnamon roll French toast was really good. The biscuit was okay but really dry and ho-hum. The banana bread was fine, but needed something else to be worth the price Also, we were the only ones there and our order took like 25 minutes. I'd go back for the cinnamon roll French toast, but not much else.

Recipes has the best cinnamon rolls in town (on Saturdays they have orange cinnamon rolls which are even better). They've got great breakfasts and coffee, too. If you're looking for something truly special then get their Vienna Coffee. It's sweet cream on top of a piping latte and it's hands down my favorite caffeinated drink. It's also got an open kitchen so you can see what's going on behind the counter. This house-turned-bakery and it's incredibly personable staff make you feel like you're eating breakfast in someone's home. One of the hidden gems of Santa Barbara to say the least.

Recipes Bakery is our absolute favorite place for a cappuccino and their blueberry goat cheese muffin. Their pie’s are to die for. The lemon meringue or key lime pie is the best in Santa Barbara.

Food and coffee are good, but man is the service slow! You order and wait outside for a good 15-20 minutes for food. I know it's made fresh, but there's got to be a better way.
